Non-Profit Development/Community Planning

  • Worked with Feasibility study and participated in the Pre-development process to development of a city block.
  • Act as the Liaison to City and State Officials.
  • Helped secure funding and financing to build 27 Ne

  • As co-developer participated in the predevelopment, development and construction phase of the project. 
  • Provided Homeowner’s Counseling to new buyers

Affordable housing Development/Minority Contractor

  • Lead Feasibility/Pre-development process for the construction of 20 units of affordable houses.
  • Act as the Liaison to City and State Officials
  • Assist in the sales and homebuyer’s counseling process 
  • Construction Management 

2000–2001 Madison Turner Senior Apartments Newark, NJ

Planner/Developer

  • Facilitate feasibility study for building a 44 unit Apartment Complex for senior residents in Newark’s South Ward.
  • Serve as Liaison to City and State Officials
  • Participate in the design process. 
  • Work with a team to secure grants and loans to build.
  • Participate in Construction Management during the building phase.

2001–2002 Horizon Village III, IV Newark, NJ

Planner/Developer

  • Worked with a team to conduct feasibility study and participated in development planning process for 50 units of New Affordable Homes in Newark’s Central Ward.
  • Serve as liaison to City and State Officials
  • Participate in the design process. 
  • Participate in the sales process.
  • Construction Manager.

2002–2003 Springfield Village Apartments Newark, NJ

Planner/Developer

  • Worked with team to complete a feasibility study and the predevelopment phase to produce a 26 unit Apartment Complex for Low and Moderate income renters in Newark’s Central Ward.
  • Serve as Liaison to City and State Officials
  • Worked on design team. 
  • Participate in seeking and receiving grants and loans.
  • Was a part of the construction management during the construction phase of the project.

Community Urban Renewal Enterprise started in 1995, Our first new housing development project, "The Horizon Village" had it's ribbon cutting in 1996. Horizon Village consisted of 27 two-family duplexes owned by one first time buyer. In 1998 C.U.R.E. Inc. built Horizon Village II adding another 20 units of affordable housing in the city of Newark . Between 1995 and 2005 Community Urban Renewal Enterprise Inc had successfully participated in the development and construction of 300 units of Affordable homes in Newark.


Today C.U.R.E. Inc partnering with an aggressive and successful Minority Contractors to produce homes for the next generation of residents in Newark. Detail Oriented Contractors have produced some of the most stunning rehabs in Newark,  East  Orange,  Orange and South Orange,  NJ


We started with our own place of residence when we gutted the home completely and renovated from the ground up.  We were quickly approached by real estate investors, brokers and home owners to deliver the same level of service.  We have been satisfying our customers ever since.  We look forward to meeting you and providing the same excellent service.

Our secondary goal was to financially empower those buyers by providing an opportunity for them to become landlords. The mission was simple, "Pay the mortgage and invest the rental income into an interest bearing security. At Grant Closeout the investment and the appreciation of the property would produced an invest value of approximately a half million dollars.
